I take anywhere from 300 - 700 photographs at each event expecting a 30% hit rate. Photographing in a room entirely lit by candles poses its challenges. There are a number of reasons why photographs of your group may not appear -
Too dark
Too bright
Blurry
One of your group may have their eyes shut
Image may not be flattering
Backgrounds may detract
Mobile phone or camera may be in shot

These are a few of the reasons - images are excluded based on the image quality and whether it is flattering to the individual. No other reason.

There is no pattern to the images used, I just look for the images that convey the bon viveur of the night and show people in a good light.

I cant contact you directly as you haven't left an email, but if you contact me via my email address and tell me who you are/what you were wearing if I have any images (regardless of quality) I can send you a lo res copy for free if I have any of your group.
